The Terrarium's engineers have been working hard in the last year recording a number of local and national bands such as Halloween Alaska, The Jayhawks, Tapes n' Tapes, Brynn Arens (FLipp), Pink Mink, Pictures of Then, as well as hosting numerous independent engineers and producers (Jacques Wait, Brent Sigmeth, Paul Marino, Duane Lunde, John Fields, Ken Friesen and Matthew Puckett).
With our large collection of vintage and modern instruments, amplifiers, and effects you can create any sound you can imagine. And in our incredible acoustic spaces with our 48-channel Neve VR, Studer 827 2" 24-track analog recorder, ProTools HD system capable of 48 i/o, and a large complement of vintage microphones and outboard gear we can record any sound you create.
The Terrarium is nestled between the Old St. Anthony and Northeast neighborhoods of Minneapolis just half a mile east of Downtown. The area features dozens of restaurants, coffee shops, and bars within walking distance of the studio. A relaxing and scenic walk through the parks on the shore of the Mississippi River is only blocks away.
